INGREDIENTS NEEDED:
- 20 medjool dates
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ½ cup raisins
- ½ cup mulberries
- ¼ cup almonds
- ¼ cup desiccated coconut
- 1 tbsp berry powder or cocoa powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
INSTRUCTIONS:
Add rolled oats, almonds, mulberries, desiccated coconut and cinnamon in a food processor and blend well.
Add 15 of the medjool dates in a food processor and blend thoroughly.
Pour into a bowl and knead the raisins into the dough.
Press the dough into a container with plastic wrap.
Now add 5 dates in a food processor along with berry powder or cocoa powder and blend well.
Add the berry dough on top of the rest of the dough in the container.
Let it cool for a minimum of 1 hour and cut into small bars – perfect for a long bike ride.
